Arun’s culinary prowess reached international heights as he attended the Hong Kong and Indian Chef Global Feast conference by SUSTA in Texas, USA, in December 2022. His leadership was pivotal in heading the first Mandarin Oriental and The Oberoi Hotels F&B collaboration in Singapore in August 2022, showcasing his global influence.

Currently serving as the Executive Chef at Trident Gurgaon, Arun Mathur has been steering the culinary journey since January 2020. His role involves a delicate balance of creativity, leadership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Arun’s legacy includes spearheading the relaunch of the iconic The Oberoi New Delhi, managing a significant budget for ten food and beverage outlets. Notably, he played a crucial role in catering to the esteemed guests at Ms. Isha Ambani’s wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

International Training and Exposure

Arun’s pursuit of excellence led him to Trinity Clapham, a Michelin-starred restaurant in the United Kingdom, where he trained under Chef Adam Byatt. He also had the privilege of working briefly at The Ritz London under Chef John William, adding to his repertoire of international experiences.
