IHG Announces Crowne Plaza Debut in Dehradun, Uttarakhand | Opening 2028

IHG^®Hotels & Resorts, One of the leading names in the hotel industry has revealed a new partnership with IVY Hotels & Resorts to introduce the inaugural Crowne Plaza hotel to Uttarakhand. Expected to open its doors in April 2028, the Crowne Plaza Dehradun Rajpur Road hotel will expand IHG’s presence in the state with 110 rooms, reinforcing its commitment to growing its portfolio in popular leisure spots across India.

Situated in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand renowned for its blend of leisure attractions, educational institutions, and burgeoning economic activity, the Crowne Plaza Dehradun Rajpur Road pledges to offer a distinctive fusion of top-tier hospitality and convenience. Embracing the Crowne Plaza ethos, the hotel aims to deliver outstanding guest experiences tailored for both leisure and business travelers, promoting seamless adaptability and harmony between professional and personal life.

With a current portfolio of 46 hotels spanning five brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Resort, and Holiday Inn Express, IHG anticipates further growth with 49 hotels slated to open in the next 2-3 years.
