Marriott International Promotes Ms. Juhi Roy to Senior Director of Development, South Asia

Marriott International is proud to announce the promotion of Ms. Juhi Roy to the position of Senior Director of Development, South Asia. Over the last six years, Juhi has played a pivotal role in sourcing, negotiating, and finalizing 42 deals comprising 6,200 rooms in the region.

Juhi’s journey with Marriott in South Asia began in 2012 when she joined as an Executive Assistant to the SVP of Development. Her dedication and commitment to excellence were evident as she transitioned to the role of Development Coordinator in 2018 and further advanced to Assistant Manager, Development in 2019. Her outstanding performance led to her elevation to Director of Development in 2021.

During her tenure, Juhi has achieved remarkable milestones, holding the record within the development organization for signing the highest number of JW Marriott projects. Her strategic vision and keen negotiation skills have been instrumental in driving Marriott’s growth and expansion in the South Asia region.

Before joining Marriott, Juhi assisted the Hyatt development team for four years, gaining valuable insights and experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to that, she honed her skills at Hindustan Times Media Ltd. and Ernst & Young. Juhi began her career journey with Oberoi New Delhi, contributing to the marketing efforts of their F&B Loyalty Programme. With 27 years of rich and diverse experience, Juhi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role as Senior Director of Development, South Asia.
