Fairmont Mumbai Appoints Chef Prasad Metrani as Director of Culinary

Fairmont Mumbai is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Prasad Metrani as the new Director of Culinary. With over 18 years of experience in the hospitality sector, Chef Prasad brings a wealth of expertise in gastronomical science and kitchen management.

Chef Prasad has worked with some of the most prestigious Indian and international hospitality brands. His notable achievements include spearheading the food and beverage division at Conrad Bengaluru and launching India’s first Raffles in Udaipur. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his innovative food and beverage concepts, exceptional menu ideations, and organizing bespoke service sequences.

In his new role at Fairmont Mumbai, Chef Prasad will oversee all culinary activities. His responsibilities will include curating unique food and beverage concepts, coordinating all food service activities, and ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence.

On his appointment, Chef Prasad expressed his enthusiasm for joining Fairmont Mumbai, stating, “I’m looking forward to embarking on a professional adventure with Fairmont Mumbai. Food for me is all about authentic flavors and emphasizing the freshness of the ingredients. Reigniting the flavors of Fairmont culinary with new and exciting twists and elevating the culinary journey in Indian hospitality.”
