Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui Elevates Ms. Branka Novakovic to Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, Thailand, is delighted to announce the promotion of Ms. Branka Novakovic to Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. With over 13 years of experience in Food & Beverage Operations, Ms. Novakovic brings a wealth of expertise and a distinguished career history to her new role.

Most recently, Ms. Novakovic served as the Director of Restaurants & Bar at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui. Her previous roles include significant positions at renowned establishments such as Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, Regent Porto Montenegro, Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro, and Opera Restaurant in Novi Sad, Serbia. Her extensive experience across these luxury and high-end properties underscores her proficiency in managing top-tier food and beverage operations.

Born in Croatia and raised in Serbia, Branka grew up in some of Eastern Europe’s most prominent tourist destinations. This background, coupled with over a decade of experience, gives her a unique edge in the hospitality industry.

Ms. Novakovic completed a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Novi Sad University in Serbia. During her studies, she interned at various dining establishments on the Greek islands of Rhodes and Kos, gaining valuable insights into Mediterranean cuisine. She began her career in the United States at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, where she honed her catering and English language skills.

In 2012, Branka returned to Europe and took on a role at Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro as a food and beverage supervisor. She quickly advanced to restaurant manager at the pre-opening team of Regent Porto Montenegro, where she led a team of 20, collaborated with the executive chef and head sommelier, and organized banqueting events and private functions. Recognizing her contributions, the Regent group sent Branka to support their pre-opening team in Chongqing, China.

Branka then joined Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, where she was involved in budget planning and marketing discussions, sharpening her business acumen and adopting a multifaceted approach to her role. Embracing new experiences and cultures, she has consistently led with style and grace.

“I believe in delivering all-round dining excellence,” says Branka, whose passion for her work extends to her personal life. When not working, she enjoys exploring local bars, restaurants, and cafes, emphasizing the importance of understanding the local culture and staying attuned to what guests expect.

Mr. Alex Porteous, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, expressed his confidence in Branka’s ability to excel in her new role: “We are thrilled to have Branka step into this pivotal position. Her extensive experience and dedication to excellence are invaluable assets to our team. We look forward to seeing her continue to elevate our food and beverage offerings.”

Please join us in congratulating Ms. Branka Novakovic on her well-deserved promotion and wishing her continued success at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui.
