Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Elevates Ms. Naike Lopez to Director of Operations

Marriott Marquis City Center Doha is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Naike Lopez to the position of Director of Operations. With over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 11 years in Qatar, Lopez brings extensive expertise and a proven track record to her new role.

“I am honored to take on this role at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha,” said Lopez. “Having been part of this incredible team as the Director of F&B since April 2023, I look forward to leading our talented team to achieve even greater success. My primary goal is to ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently met across all departments while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment amongst all of our team members.”

During her tenure as the Director of F&B, Lopez made a significant impact on the hotel’s F&B services, revenue, and operations. She managed ten dining outlets, including the repositioning of New York Steakhouse, strengthening the performance of Ipanema, as well as the opening of Tulum in November 2023. Additionally, Lopez excelled in overseeing outside catering for major events such as the Asian Cup and the World Aquatic Championship.

Lopez previously served as the Catering Operations Manager at Match Hospitality for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. In this role, she demonstrated strong event management skills, overseeing catering and hospitality sales, and organizing high-profile events.
