At Pullman Hotels & Resorts Delhi Aerocity, and later Le Meridien Gurgaon, Ramana held the position of Director of Human Resources. His journey then took him to The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, where he served as Director of Human Resources. Here, Ramana oversaw HR functions for the flagship property of Marriott International in Hyderabad. His expertise in strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition, and employee relations played a crucial role in enhancing the hotel’s operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Ramana’s next significant role was at GITAM Deemed University in Hyderabad as Deputy Director-HR. In this capacity, he was responsible for shaping HR policies, driving talent acquisition, and leading career development initiatives.
