Yashobhoomi Sets the Stage for SATTE 2025: South Asia’s Premier Travel & Tourism Show

The 32nd edition of SATTE 2025, South Asia’s leading travel and tourism expo, opened today at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, bringing together key industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders. The event was inaugurated by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism & Culture, Government of India, alongside Smt. V. Vidyavathi, Tourism Secretary, Government of India.

Driving Tourism Growth & Innovation

With the theme “Tourism 2025: Fostering Global Collaboration for Mutual Growth,” the exhibition highlights India’s expanding tourism market, the rise of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) tourism, and the government’s initiatives to develop 40 new destinations. Shri Shekhawat emphasized the sector’s 24% projected CAGR growth, increasing investments in tourism infrastructure, and the nation’s evolving position as a global tourism hub.

Unveiling Key Attractions & International Participation

SATTE 2025 features 2,000+ exhibitors, 50+ participating countries, and 28 state tourism boards, making it a key platform for networking and business collaborations. The Atithi buyer-seller meet, in partnership with SEPC, hosts 250 international buyers, while the Indian Ports Authority promotes Cruise Bharat Mission, unlocking new cruise tourism opportunities.

Prominent international destinations include Malaysia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Bhutan, Uzbekistan, Thailand, and more, while leading Indian states such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, Odisha, Karnataka, and Punjab showcase their tourism potential.
