With 16 years of extensive experience in the Spa & Wellness industry, Gopkumar brings a deep understanding of holistic healing, luxury wellness experiences, and strategic spa management.

His career spans across prestigious international destination spa resorts in the Caribbean, Maldives, Nepal, and India. A certified expert in yoga, sound healing, and cupping therapy, Gopkumar holds distinguished technical diplomas from Ananda Spa Institute Hyderabad, CIBTAC (UK), and Sanatan Yoga. His expertise perfectly aligns with The Leela’s philosophy of luxury, rejuvenation, and transformative wellness experiences.

Gopkumar’s journey in hospitality began with The Leela Mumbai in 2008, where he built a strong foundation in spa operations. Prior to joining The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi, he led the spa operations at Ozen Reserve Bolifushi, Maldives, where he introduced innovative wellness programs and curated bespoke treatment menus. His proficiency in guest experience enhancement, sustainable wellness practices, and strategic spa management has set new industry benchmarks.
