Hyatt Strengthens Its Footprint in India with Grand Hyatt Shiwalik Hills, Kasauli

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in collaboration with Asia Resorts Limited, has announced the launch of Grand Hyatt Shiwalik Hills, an opulent new retreat set to grace a sprawling 12-acre hilltop in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh.

Just 90 minutes from Chandigarh, this much-awaited luxury resort is set to debut in early 2028, marking a distinguished addition to Hyatt’s Classics portfolio. Designed to seamlessly merge contemporary elegance with the region’s architectural heritage, the 220-room property aims to redefine luxury hospitality in the Solan district.

An Unparalleled Destination

Nestled along the scenic route to Shimla, Grand Hyatt Shiwalik Hills will offer spectacular valley vistas, lush greenery, and a tranquil escape in nature. The resort’s design will emphasize sustainability, preserving existing structures while integrating modern aesthetics that complement the natural surroundings.

Sharing his thoughts on this landmark development, Dhruva Rathore, Vice President of Development, India & Southwest Asia, Hyatt, underscored the brand’s commitment to raising the bar in luxury hospitality in India.

“Our vision is to craft immersive, world-class experiences that celebrate the distinct character of each destination. Grand Hyatt Shiwalik Hills will exemplify this ethos, offering unparalleled luxury amidst a breathtaking landscape.”
