Udaipur Marriott Hotel Appoints Vaibhav Sagar as General Manager Ahead of April 2025 Launch

Udaipur Marriott Hotel, the first property to debut under the flagship Marriott Hotels brand in the historic city of Udaipur, is pleased to announce the appointment of Vaibhav Sagar as its General Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience spanning hospitality and finance, Sagar brings a well-rounded, strategic approach to leadership.

Sagar’s career began with Hyatt Hotels, followed by a successful stint in the banking sector with IDBI and Kotak Mahindra Bank. His return to hospitality saw him excel in senior roles across globally recognized brands including IHG, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, IHHR Hospitality, and the Radisson Hotel Group. This unique cross-industry experience lends him a diverse skill set in marketing, finance, and performance-driven hotel operations.

Most recently, Sagar served as General Manager at Le Méridien Hyderabad, where he played a transformative role in boosting guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and commercial outcomes. He is also an alumnus of Cornell University’s executive education program and holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Aravalli Hills and overlooking the serene Fateh Sagar Lake, Udaipur Marriott Hotel is scheduled to open in April 2025, marking Marriott International’s official entry into the royal city of Udaipur.
