Leadership with Legacy: Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai Welcomes Pramod Dwivedi and Taraka Kubal to Key Roles

In a strategic move to strengthen its leadership team, Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport proudly announces the appointment of Pramod Dwivedi as Director of Food & Beverage and Taraka Kubal as Executive Housekeeper. Both industry veterans bring not only years of expertise but a deep-rooted connection with Marriott International, promising to elevate operational standards and enrich the guest experience.

Pramod Dwivedi: Crafting Dining Experiences with Heart and Strategy

With over 15 years of hospitality experience, Pramod joins from JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, where he was instrumental in shaping memorable guest journeys and driving operational excellence. Having spent 13 years within the Marriott ecosystem, Pramod brings with him a profound understanding of the brand’s service DNA and people-first philosophy.

“Courtyard by Marriott’s focus on comfort, efficiency, and guest-centric service resonates deeply with my approach,” says Pramod. “I look forward to crafting elevated dining experiences, empowering teams, and leveraging innovation to create meaningful moments for our guests.”

In his new role, Pramod will lead initiatives across the hotel’s diverse dining outlets and focus on sustainability, tech integration, and seamless service.

Taraka Kubal: Returning Home to Lead with Grace

Rejoining Courtyard after nearly a decade, Taraka Kubal returns as Executive Housekeeper, bringing with her a global lens and hands-on brand insight. A postgraduate from PIHMS University, New Zealand, Taraka’s Marriott journey includes a strong stint at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu from 2016 to 2025, and an earlier tenure at Courtyard from 2012 to 2016.

“Coming back to Courtyard feels like a homecoming,” shares Taraka. “This hotel holds a special place in my professional journey. I’m excited to work with a dedicated team and focus on delivering world-class hygiene, comfort, and innovation—especially as we gear up for room renovations and enhancements.”

Taraka will spearhead the housekeeping team, ensure alignment with Marriott brand standards, and contribute to strategic projects supporting the hotel’s long-term vision.

A Step Forward in Hospitality Excellence

The appointments of Pramod and Taraka mark a significant step in Courtyard’s ongoing pursuit of operational excellence, team development, and guest satisfaction. With their leadership, the hotel is poised to continue offering premium hospitality in one of Mumbai’s most dynamic neighborhoods.
