Swaad Sutra by Radisson Blu Hotel New Delhi Paschim Vihar: A Culinary Journey Through Punjab, Haryana & Rajasthan
New Delhi, August 2025 – At a time when food festivals often come and go like seasonal fads, Radisson Blu Hotel New Delhi Paschim Vihar presents something truly timeless – Swaad Sutra, a celebration of heritage, flavours, and stories from the heartland of North India.
Running from 22nd August to 7th September 2025 at Level 2, this unique culinary festival brings together the rich cuisines of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan, turning every meal into a soulful experience. A special Blogger Table on 23rd August 2025 promises to give food lovers and influencers a front-row seat to this delicious cultural extravaganza.
A Festival of Flavours and Stories
Conceptualised by General Manager Mr. Anuj Soin, Swaad Sutra goes beyond serving food – it tells stories of tradition, memories, and the shared culinary heritage of three vibrant states.
“We wanted to create something that doesn’t just serve food but celebrates cultures and connects generations. Swaad Sutra is about giving our guests an experience that feels both new and nostalgic,” shares Mr. Soin.
The name Swaad Sutra, meaning The Taste Thread, symbolises the deep-rooted connection between regional kitchens, traditions, and hospitality. From the mustard fields of Punjab to the rustic farmlands of Haryana and the royal courts of Rajasthan, the festival brings bold, rustic, and regal flavours together on a single plate.
A Culinary Map of North India on Your Plate
Curated by Chef Sanjeev Kumar Nandi, the menu is a masterpiece of heritage recipes and forgotten flavours:
Punjab: Indulge in the buttery Batinda Chicken and smoky Besan Masala Roti that capture the essence of the state’s hearty cuisine.
Haryana: Relish wholesome dishes like Bajra Khichdi and the tangy Rajma Rasmisa, inspired by the region’s earthy farmlands.
Rajasthan: Savour royal delicacies such as Mohan Maas, Ker Sangri, and the iconic Dal Baati Churma, each dish carrying the grandeur of Rajasthani heritage.
As Chef Nandi puts it:
“Cooking these dishes is like telling a story without words — every spice, every simmer has a history, and every bite has a memory.”
