Sanchez’s inspiring career journey began in 2015 at the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort, where she started as a server. Her passion, creativity, and leadership saw her rise through the ranks, eventually becoming Marketing and Event Development Manager in 2022.
She gained recognition for her expertise in brand storytelling, digital campaigns, and event activations, helping position the resort as a top destination for both leisure travelers and locals.
Innovative Strategies During the Pandemic
When the global tourism industry faced unprecedented challenges in 2021, Sanchez stepped up as Acting Marketing Manager, launching creative initiatives to engage the local market. Her efforts generated over USD 1.6 million in food and beverage revenue, showcasing her ability to drive results even in difficult times.
From rebranding signature dining concepts to expanding the resort’s social media presence, her work not only boosted guest engagement but also strengthened the property’s reputation as a leading Caribbean resort.
