Susegado Reimagined at The St. Regis Goa Resort

A Beloved Goan Icon Returns — Bolder, Brighter, and More Delicious

South Goa’s culinary scene is about to get even more irresistible. On October 1, 2025, The St. Regis Goa Resort proudly reopens its iconic restaurant Susegado – The Coastal Indian Kitchen, reimagined for a new era of indulgence.

Perched along the pristine coastline, Susegado has long been synonymous with Goa’s laid-back spirit. Now, with its refreshed design and evolved menu, it invites guests on a gastronomic journey inspired by India’s vibrant coastal states — from the spice-rich kitchens of Chettinad to the coconut-fragrant dishes of Malabar, the fiery grills of the Konkan, and of course, the soulful flavors of Goa.

Flavours of the Coast, Stories on a Plate

At the heart of Susegado lies a culinary philosophy that blends tradition with modern finesse. Guests can savour everything from banana leaf-steamed fish to Goan Cafreal with a global twist, each dish narrating a story of age-old recipes reimagined through contemporary creativity.

The restaurant’s atmosphere reflects this balance too — sunlit and breezy by day, warmly intimate by night — making it the perfect setting for both lazy lunches and long, lingering dinners.

Introducing Susegado Sundowners

Adding a touch of magic to the evenings, Susegado debuts Susegado Sundowners, a new Saturday ritual celebrating Goa’s world-famous sunsets. Beginning at golden hour, guests can enjoy inventive coastal cocktails — think kokum-laced feni, tropical rum blends, and spice-garden-inspired botanicals — paired with curated bites and live entertainment.

As twilight deepens, the evening flows naturally into dinner, transforming into a multi-sensory celebration of India’s shores.

A New Chapter for Goa’s Coastal Dining

“Susegado has always embodied the soul of Goa,” shares Gurnoor Bindra, General Manager of The St. Regis Goa Resort. “This season, we’re proud to expand that spirit — not just through design and dining, but through an entire experience that invites guests to slow down and savour life by the sea.”

With its pan-Indian coastal focus, refined ambiance, and the new Susegado Sundowners, the reimagined Susegado offers not just a meal, but an invitation to live the essence of Goa — unhurried, soulful, and unforgettable.
