At The Leela, sustainability isn’t just a policy—it’s a philosophy woven into every guest experience, every design detail, and every community initiative. This Christmas, the hotel transforms its spaces with décor that inspires mindful celebration and proves that luxury and responsibility can coexist effortlessly.

The showstopper of the season is the magnificent 80-ft façade Christmas tree, a striking installation crafted entirely from repurposed waste pipes and wires. Towering over the hotel’s exterior, this eco-conscious masterpiece reimagines everyday materials into something spectacular—an artistic reminder that creativity has no limits when guided by intention.

Stepping indoors, guests are welcomed by the breathtaking Tree of Hope, the centrepiece of The Leela’s festive narrative. Conceptualised and constructed by the hotel’s talented in-house Engineering team, this installation is built using reclaimed floorboards sourced directly from the property. As the hotel celebrates 15 years of excellence, these floorboards—once part of its foundation—return in a new form, symbolising renewal, resilience, and the promise of a hopeful tomorrow.

Further enriching this celebration of conscious luxury, every ornament adorning the installations has been handcrafted by local artisans. This thoughtful collaboration not only elevates the aesthetic charm of the décor but also strengthens The Leela’s commitment to empowering local communities and championing responsible sourcing.
