Bringing over 16 years of experience in luxury and upper-upscale hospitality, Chandan joins with a reputation for driving revenue performance, building agile commercial teams, and delivering standout brand visibility in highly competitive markets. His career spans leadership roles with globally respected hospitality brands such as Shangri-La Hotels, Radisson Hotel Group, Marriott International (Sheraton), and The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.
Chandan’s expertise covers hotel sales strategy, MICE, catering and banquets, regional sales leadership, and integrated marketing operations. Over the years, he has consistently delivered year-on-year revenue growth, exceeded budgeted targets across rooms and events, and successfully led high-profile assignments involving government delegations and large-scale international events. His accomplishments include receiving the South Asia Travel Award (SATA) and spearheading a landmark initiative recognized by the Guinness World Records.
In his new role, Chandan will oversee the hotel’s overall sales and marketing strategy, focusing on strengthening strategic partnerships, expanding MICE and corporate business, and positioning Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC as a preferred destination for business, events, and experiential stays in the region.
