Every great hospitality brand has a turning point—a moment when experience meets ambition, and leadership reshapes the future. For Metro Group of Companies, that moment is now.
We are proud to announce Mr. Aravind Mylsammy as the new Managing Director of Metro Group of Companies, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the group’s journey across India’s hospitality and real estate landscape.
Aravind’s story with Metro Group isn’t the typical corner-office narrative. His journey began where true hospitality leadership is tested—on the operational front lines. Tasked with reviving a single, debt-burdened hotel, he transformed it into a profitable, high-performing asset through sharp operational discipline, engineering precision, and an uncompromising focus on systems.
That hands-on experience didn’t just rebuild a hotel—it built a leader who understands hospitality from its very foundations.
Today, as Managing Director, Aravind brings with him a rare blend of technical insight, operational clarity, and long-term vision, making him uniquely positioned to lead Metro Group into its most ambitious phase yet.
Sharing his outlook for the future, Aravind emphasizes that Metro Group’s growth will be driven by systems, scalability, and sustainable excellence.
“My priority is to bridge the gap between our real estate development expertise and our hospitality footprint. We aren’t just building hotels; we are scaling a system-driven legacy. By 2030, our goal is to have 36 properties operational across the country—each one reflecting the quality and discipline we’ve worked decades to perfect.”
This vision reflects a deeper shift in the hospitality industry—where success is no longer measured only by locations or luxury, but by consistency, efficiency, and guest experience at scale.
Metro Group’s expansion plans are no longer on paper—they are actively in motion. With new properties planned across strategic destinations, the group aims to strengthen its presence while maintaining the operational standards that define its brand.
Each upcoming hotel will carry the same DNA:
Strong operational systems
Engineering-led efficiency
Thoughtfully designed guest experiences
Long-term asset sustainability
As Metro Group of Companies steps into the next decade, Aravind Mylsammy’s leadership signals a future built on discipline, vision, and execution—qualities essential in today’s competitive travel and tourism sector.
With 2030 in sight and 36 properties on the horizon, Metro Group isn’t just expanding its footprint—it’s shaping a scalable hospitality legacy for India’s evolving travel landscape.
The journey ahead is ambitious, and we’re just getting started.
