The announcement, made in New Delhi on February 4, marks a significant milestone in Ms. Chaudhary’s distinguished journey with the Group and highlights her enduring impact on its commercial success.

A Journey Rooted in Consistency and Excellence

Associated with The LaLiT since 2013, Deepmala Chaudhary’s professional journey is a testament to perseverance, strategic thinking, and deep-rooted industry expertise. From her early leadership roles to serving as Head – Revenue since 2016, she has been instrumental in shaping and strengthening the Group’s revenue architecture across India and international markets.

With over 18 years of experience in luxury hospitality revenue management, Ms. Chaudhary has consistently demonstrated an ability to balance data-driven strategy with a nuanced understanding of guest behaviour, market dynamics, and evolving distribution channels—skills that are increasingly vital in today’s competitive hospitality landscape.

Driving Integrated Growth Across Verticals

In her expanded mandate, Ms. Chaudhary will oversee both Sales and Revenue functions, steering integrated strategies across rooms, food & beverage, MICE, and digital revenue platforms. Her role will also encompass group-wide pricing, demand forecasting, distribution strategy, and revenue optimisation.

Working closely with Unit General Managers, cluster sales teams, marketing communications, and digital functions, she will continue to play a central role in aligning commercial objectives with brand vision—ensuring sustained growth and profitability across destinations.

Among her many contributions at The LaLiT, Ms. Chaudhary has:

  • Optimised online and direct booking channels

  • Built robust centralised revenue and demand analysis systems

Before joining The LaLiT, Ms. Chaudhary began her career with ITC Hotels, where she held progressive roles across iconic properties such as ITC Maurya, ITC Welcome Hotel Chola, and ITC Grand Chola. This formative phase equipped her with deep operational insight and revenue expertise, laying the foundation for her future leadership roles.
