Felix Otto’s career spans some of the most dynamic hospitality markets across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for managing complex, multi-outlet food and beverage operations while maintaining exceptional service standards.
A significant part of his journey has been with the globally renowned Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. During his tenure, Otto held key leadership roles across iconic destinations including London, Boston, Washington D.C., Bangkok, Dubai, and Muscat—each contributing to his well-rounded expertise in luxury dining.
Otto’s experience is as diverse as it is impressive. From Michelin-starred restaurants to high-volume banqueting and gourmet retail, he has consistently delivered excellence in both guest satisfaction and financial performance.
Most recently, at Mandarin Oriental, Muscat, he managed an expansive portfolio that included restaurants, lounges, a cake shop, and large-scale banquet facilities. His responsibilities ranged from conceptualising dining outlets to recruiting senior leadership teams and launching innovative culinary concepts.
In his new role at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, Otto will oversee seven restaurants and bars, along with in-room dining, beach and pool services, and event catering.
Located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah, the resort is already known for its distinctive dining experiences. Otto’s appointment signals a renewed focus on culinary innovation, operational excellence, and enhanced guest engagement.
