His career in luxury hospitality has been closely associated with Ritz Paris, where he began his professional journey in 1997 in a Front Desk position. Over the years, he moved through a wide range of operational and leadership roles, gradually taking on greater responsibilities across the renowned Parisian property.

His progression ultimately led him to the position of General Manager, giving him valuable experience in managing one of the world’s most recognised luxury hotels.

Throughout his time at Ritz Paris, Herschbach held several senior positions, including Director of Rooms, Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Operations, and Hotel Director.

This broad operational background has allowed him to develop expertise across virtually every major area of luxury hotel management. His experience spans rooms and guest services, food and beverage, operational management, financial performance, and wider hotel strategy.

Herschbach’s professional background is supported by an international education in hospitality and business. He is a graduate of the École d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme du Luxembourg and later continued his management education through hotel management studies at Cornell University.

He also completed additional finance training at HEC Paris, further strengthening his understanding of the commercial and financial aspects of hotel management.
