Grand Hotel Belvedere, a Beaumier Hotel, has appointed Tanja Münker as its new Area General Manager, effective 1 January 2027. Bringing more than 20 years of international luxury hospitality experience, Münker will lead the property with a strong background in hotel operations, team development and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Tanja Münker’s Experience in Luxury Hospitality
Münker currently serves as General Manager of Bergwelt Grindelwald Alpine Design Resort in Switzerland, a position she has held since December 2022.
During her tenure, she has overseen the award-winning 90-room resort and managed a team of 95 associates. Her leadership has contributed to the property’s development as a recognised mountain hospitality destination in Europe.
With more than two decades in the industry, Münker has built extensive expertise in luxury hotel management, operational excellence and team leadership. Her professional journey also includes experience with internationally recognised hospitality groups such as Marriott and Sheraton.
These roles have provided her with valuable insights into managing high-end hotel operations, maintaining service standards and creating memorable experiences for international travellers.
A Strong Connection with the Swiss Alpine Region
Having lived in Grindelwald since 2022, Münker has developed a strong personal and professional connection with Switzerland’s Alpine region.
Her familiarity with the destination and its hospitality landscape gives her an understanding of the expectations of travellers visiting the Swiss mountains.
She is also already acquainted with Beaumier’s Grand Hotel Belvedere, making her transition into the new leadership position a natural progression in her career.
