This has resulted in a global network of approximately 4,700 hotels across various chain scale segments, spanning over 100 countries and territories worldwide.
Before his current role, Tajinder Singh served as the Vice President Sales & Marketing – India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka at Best Western® Hotels & Resorts. During his three-year tenure from January 2016 to May 2019, he was responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing, and branding of Best Western brands within the Indian subcontinent. He played a crucial role in developing and implementing a commercial strategy to maximize revenues, incorporating the best sales and marketing practices. His focus on driving top-line revenues and profitability aligned with the defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the organization. Additionally, he managed relationships with property owners and conducted pre-opening sales and marketing activities for new hotels. His comprehensive role extended to mentoring and training sales resources across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

He managed a portfolio of 28 hotels under various brands such as Radisson Blu Plaza, Radisson Blu, Country Inns & Suites by Carlson, and Park Plaza. His role as the entry point for new hotel openings involved preparing business plans, financial matrices, revenue forecasts, and pre-opening marketing budgets. He acted as an ambassador to multiple ownerships, facilitating commercial agreements, and overseeing the hiring of key sales personnel for the hotels. Tajinder Singh’s responsibilities extended to monitoring the sales performance of hotels within the region, conducting business reviews, and developing strategies for underperforming properties.
Throughout his career, Tajinder Singh has been deeply involved in sales and marketing efforts for several renowned hotel brands, including Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., Accor, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Regency, Marriott International, and The Park Hotels.
