The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Golden Triangle Fort and Palace to transform Roshan-ud-Daulah, Chhatar Manzil in Lucknow, and Chunar Fort in Mirzapur into luxury heritage hotels.
Inspired by the grandeur of Suryagarh Jaisalmer, these iconic historical sites will be revitalized to offer an unparalleled blend of heritage, luxury, and cultural immersion. The initiative, undertaken through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, aims to enhance Uttar Pradesh’s tourism landscape while preserving its architectural legacy.
Jaiveer Singh, Minister of Tourism & Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh, highlighted the significance of the project, stating, “These three heritage properties have been entrusted to Golden Triangle, Rajasthan, under the PPP model. This initiative will not only boost tourism but also provide a world-class hospitality experience deeply rooted in our rich history.”
By integrating modern luxury with the timeless charm of these heritage sites, the UP government seeks to position the state as a premier destination for heritage tourism. The development of these properties is expected to attract domestic and international travelers, further strengthening the state’s cultural tourism offerings.
