Known for his passion for culinary innovation, local sourcing, and guest-centered dining, Chef Dandee is set to enhance the hotel’s rich culinary identity.
In his new role, Chef Dandee will oversee all culinary operations, including the renowned Grange Restaurant and Bar, a flagship in Sacramento’s vibrant farm-to-fork movement. His leadership will focus on celebrating seasonal produce, supporting local farmers, and crafting authentic dining experiences that reflect the essence of Northern California’s food culture.
Before joining The Citizen Hotel, Chef Dandee made his mark in Palm Springs, where he served as Area Executive Chef for Proper Hospitality, overseeing the Avalon Hotel and Bungalows and the historic Ingleside Estate. His impressive portfolio also includes leadership roles as Culinary Director of Craft House Restaurant Group and Executive Chef positions at Solvang’s Sear Steakhouse, F10 Creative, and Wolfgang Puck Bar and Kitchen.
