Embarking on an illustrious career in the hospitality industry, Mr. Manuj Ralhan has carved a remarkable path as a passionate and visionary hotelier. With a rich tapestry of experiences spanning diverse roles, Mr. Ralhan’s journey reflects his unwavering commitment to excellence.
Mr. Ralhan’s journey commenced with The Oberoi Group, where he honed his skills in food and beverage services. Working his way up from Food & Beverage Associate to Supervisor at The Oberoi Amarvilas Agra, he garnered accolades for the hotel and himself, setting the stage for an impactful career.

His tenure at Taj Hotels saw him contribute significantly to the iconic Rambagh Palace in Jaipur. Not only did he assist in the setup of the newly renovated Rajput Room but he also played a pivotal role creating dining experiences and anticipatory service. The hotel reached RGI Rank 1 and ADRs upwards of INR 50,000. This period laid the foundation for his future success.
Venturing into the Maldives, Mr. Ralhan’s role at Four Seasons Resort Kuda Huraa marked the beginning of his international journey. Managing F&B operations at world’s finest resort gave him the opportunity to push himself in raising his standards to deliver exceptional quality of service. He also assisted with opening of Four Seasons Landa Giraavaru Resort & Spa and spearheaded the operations of the famous Four Seasons Explorer, the luxury yatch. He introduced innovative experiences, F&B festivals, resulting in revenue growth.
Mr. Ralhan’s went on to open the Shangri-la Resort & Spa where he was elevated to the role of F&B Operations Manager in a span of 10 months, later transferred to the road warrior brand Traders in Male city to setup the F&B of the hotel. Great financial results in F&B led to his recognition and he was promoted and transferred to open and setup the erstwhile Shangri-la Mumbai, now the St Regis. His stint at Shangri-la was most unique, as he designed the concept, story and executed the famous Sahib Room & Kipling Bar, the Indian diner, opened the rest of the award-winning restaurants at the hotel which include Seven Kitchens, Mekong, EXO Night Club, Li Bai Bar, Yuuka and the massive 50,000 ft Banquet spaces spread over three floors of the hotel where he showcased his prowess with strategy and operational excellence.
From there on, Mr. Ralhan made significant contributions to luxury hotels such as Intercontinental Mumbai and bringing their F&B on the Mumbai map, JW Marriott Bengaluru, JW Marriott Pune and Four Seasons Bengaluru as Hotel Manager leading the teams from the front, bringing passion and dynamism to these hotels. He was among the first ones to open a brewery in a hotel at JW Marriott Bengaluru in the country and orchestrated many musical festivals making the hotel a hub for entertainment.
A true entrepreneur, Mr. Ralhan invested in and operated a 52-room hotel in Vizag, showcasing his business acumen. His stint as an Investor and Entrepreneur with HOTEL MANTRIS underscored his ability to navigate the complexities of the hospitality business and made an EBIT of 20% in year one of the hotel operation.
Currently serving as the General Manager for the newly opened Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre & JECC, Mr. Ralhan has been instrumental in orchestrating the launch of one of South Asia’s largest exhibition center attached to a hotel. He has created a new benchmark. He joined the property in June, hired a very young and energetic team who are all geared to create history in Jaipur. His strategic acuity and extensive experience at the helm of Hotel operations led him to become the driving force for this venture.
