Mr. Puneet Dhawan

Minor Hotels is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Puneet Dhawan as Head of Asia, effective from July. In his new role, Mr. Dhawan will be entrusted with overseeing the performance of all Minor Hotels properties across Asia. He will closely collaborate with the senior leadership team of Minor Hotels and report directly to CEO Mr. Dillip Rajakarier.

With an illustrious 30-year career in the hospitality industry spanning Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, Mr. Dhawan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. His most recent position as Senior Vice President of Operations – India & South Asia at Accor saw him spearheading the group’s business development, owner management, hotel operations, and commercial team, contributing significantly to Accor’s growth in the region.

Mr. Dhawan’s notable achievements include overseeing the successful opening of the first Raffles hotel in India. During his impressive 25-year tenure at Accor, he also served as the group’s Vice President of Operations, Middle East, and held several General Manager roles across various properties. His journey in the hospitality industry commenced with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, where he held key positions at properties in the Philippines and Hong Kong.
