Arshiya Paul’s journey in the realm of human resources is a remarkable tale of dedication, growth, and visionary leadership. Currently, she holds the esteemed position of Talent and Culture Manager at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture and fostering talent.

Arshiya’s career began with a strong foundation in human resources at SPANCO. Here, she honed her skills in managing HR functions and laid the groundwork for her future endeavours. Her ability to handle diverse HR responsibilities and drive employee engagement set the stage for her subsequent roles.

She then moved to Flipkart, one of India’s leading e-commerce companies. At Flipkart, Arshiya’s HR acumen was instrumental in managing recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development. Her knack for understanding employee needs and creating a supportive work environment significantly contributed to the company’s dynamic culture.

Following her stint at Flipkart, Arshiya joined IPG Mediabrands as Assistant Manager of Human Resources. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing HR operations, driving talent acquisition, and implementing strategic HR initiatives. Her leadership and strategic vision helped the organization in attracting and retaining top talent.

Her next step was at Archer Hospitality, where she served as Human Resources and Training Manager at The Astor. Here, she played a crucial role in streamlining HR and IR processes, enhancing employee satisfaction, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Her efforts were pivotal in creating a harmonious and productive work environment, contributing to the overall success of the hotel.

Arshiya’s journey then took her to ibis, ibis Styles, and ibis budget, where she served as Talent and Culture Manager. During her tenure, she successfully led various HR initiatives, focusing on employee development, performance management, and cultural transformation. Her innovative approach and commitment to excellence earned her recognition as a leader in the hospitality industry and she was awarded the BW HOTELIER Indian Hospitality AWARD 2023, winner HR HEAD-EAST.

In her current role as Talent and Culture Manager at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, Arshiya continues to make a significant impact. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of talent management, employee engagement, and organizational culture. Her ability to inspire and motivate her team, coupled with her strategic HR insights, has been instrumental in driving the hotel’s success.

Arshiya’s dedication to her profession extends beyond her corporate responsibilities. She is also a certified hospitality trainer and parenting coach, showcasing her commitment to personal and professional development.
