Currently, he holds the prestigious position of Director of Talent & Culture at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, where he plays a pivotal role in nurturing and developing the organization’s most valuable asset—its people.

Ramana’s journey began at The Park Hotels, where he served as Assistant Manager of Human Resources. Over a span of seven years, he demonstrated an innate ability to manage HR operations, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring seamless HR processes. His expertise in employee engagement, HR policies, and conflict resolution set the foundation for his future successes.

Moving forward, Ramana joined Wockhardt Hospitals in Hyderabad as the Manager of Human Resources. Here, he was responsible for overseeing HR functions, from recruitment and talent acquisition to performance management and strategic HR leadership. His strategic approach and strong interpersonal skills were instrumental in driving organizational growth and employee satisfaction.

Ramana’s career continued to ascend as he took on the role of Human Resources Manager at Novotel Hyderabad International Airport. During his tenure, he led HR operations and pre-opening HR initiatives, establishing a robust HR framework that supported the airport’s dynamic environment. His leadership in talent management, conflict resolution, and strategic HR planning was pivotal in creating a thriving workplace.

At Pullman Hotels & Resorts Delhi Aerocity, and later Le Meridien Gurgaon, Ramana held the position of Director of Human Resources. In these roles, he successfully led HR departments, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and strategic communications. His ability to drive culture change and manage complex HR challenges positioned him as a respected leader in the industry.

His journey then took him to The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, where he served as Director of Human Resources. Here, Ramana oversaw HR functions for the flagship property of Marriott International in Hyderabad. His expertise in strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition, and employee relations played a crucial role in enhancing the hotel’s operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Ramana’s next significant role was at GITAM Deemed University in Hyderabad as Deputy Director-HR. In this capacity, he was responsible for shaping HR policies, driving talent acquisition, and leading career development initiatives. His strategic vision and leadership skills were instrumental in aligning HR practices with the university’s mission and goals.

Currently, as the Director of Talent & Culture at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, Ramana continues to make a profound impact. He is responsible for overseeing talent management, employee engagement, and organizational culture.
