From 28th August to 7th September 2025, ITC Grand Central’s signature restaurant, Dakshin, invites you to experience the grandeur of a traditional Onam Sadhya – a feast that captures the essence of togetherness, prosperity, and joy.
Onam is more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of abundance, community, and culture. At the heart of this celebration lies the Onam Sadhya – a lavish vegetarian meal served on a banana leaf, featuring a delightful variety of dishes, each symbolising balance and harmony.
At Dakshin, known for its authentic South Indian culinary heritage, the Onam Sadhya is crafted with love and tradition. Guests will be treated to an indulgent spread including:
Sambaram, Payar Thoran, Kootu Curry, Avial, Olan, Kalan, Erissery, Paruppu Thalichathu, Kaita Chakka Pachadi, Palada Payasam and more.
Classic accompaniments such as Kaya Varuthathu, Sharkara Upperi, Puli Inji, Naranga Achar, and crispy Papadam complete the feast.
Each dish is prepared with time-honoured recipes and authentic techniques, offering guests a true taste of Kerala’s festive traditions.
