Baa Atoll, Maldives | 10 September 2025: In an exciting move for the luxury travel world, Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Sasha Tyas as the new General Manager of Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas. Known for its award-winning overwater experiences and stunning location within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the resort is set to embrace a new era of sustainable luxury and inclusive leadership under Sasha’s guidance.
Born in England, raised in France, and fluent in four languages—English, French, German, and Portuguese—Sasha brings a rich multicultural perspective and global operational experience to Anantara Kihavah. Her impressive career spans iconic destinations such as Cap Juluca in Anguilla, Mango House Seychelles, Constance Moofushi in the Maldives, and the ultra-luxury Ilma yacht with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
From the Caribbean to the Indian Ocean, Sasha has built a reputation for delivering world-class guest experiences while championing sustainability, cultural authenticity, and innovation in hospitality.
