Colombo, September 16, 2025 – ITC Hotels has announced the promotion of Keenan McKenzie as Area Manager – Sri Lanka and General Manager of ITC Ratnadipa, Colombo. A seasoned hospitality professional with over two decades of experience, McKenzie will spearhead ITC Ratnadipa’s operations while driving the strategic growth of WelcomHotels Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of ITC Hotels Ltd. in Sri Lanka.

McKenzie’s association with ITC Hotels dates back to 2000 when he joined as a management trainee after graduating from the ITC Hotel Management Institute (formerly WelcomGroup Management Institute). Over the years, he has held key leadership roles across prominent ITC Hotels properties, including ITC Kakatiya (Hyderabad), WelcomHotel Grand Bay (Visakhapatnam), ITC Rajputana (Jaipur), ITC Sonar (Kolkata), and ITC Maratha (Mumbai).

His recent tenure as the General Manager of ITC Narmada – A Luxury Collection Hotel in Ahmedabad saw him successfully elevate the property’s market positioning and guest experiences, setting new benchmarks for operational excellence.
