Radisson Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Randy Romero as General Manager of Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago, marking a significant leadership milestone for one of Chicago’s most architecturally striking and lifestyle-driven hotels.
With over 35 years of distinguished experience at Hilton Hotels Corporation, Romero brings a rare blend of strategic vision and hands-on operational expertise. His career spans iconic properties including Hilton Chicago, The Beverly Hilton, and the legendary Waldorf Astoria New York, where he earned a reputation for strengthening service culture, elevating brand standards, and driving sustained revenue growth.
In his new role, Romero will lead all aspects of the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel experience—from its thoughtfully designed guest rooms to FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar, one of Chicago’s largest hotel fitness centers with indoor and outdoor pools, and over 28,000 square feet of dynamic meeting and event space.
Most recently, Romero served as General Manager of Sable at Navy Pier, where he successfully positioned the hotel as a premier waterfront destination. Known for his collaborative, people-first leadership style, Romero is set to further enhance the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel’s reputation as a vibrant hub for business and leisure travelers alike—where inspired design meets heartfelt hospitality.
