An alumnus of the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, he began his career with the Taj Group, where he developed a strong foundation in service excellence and operational discipline.
Over the years, Vasant has held pivotal leadership roles at some of the country’s most iconic hotels. His impactful tenures as Director of Rooms at JW Marriott Aerocity and the legendary Taj Lake Palace are widely recognized for elevating guest experiences and operational benchmarks.
Most recently, as Hotel Manager at The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi, Vasant played a key role in strengthening operational excellence, enhancing experiential dining, and nurturing future leaders—further reinforcing the hotel’s reputation for refined, contemporary hospitality.
In his new role, Vasant Ravindran will lead the strategic and operational vision of The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa, deepening its positioning as a premier wellness-inspired destination.
