In a strategic move that reflects both growth and vision, Duygu Tatar has been appointed as the new Group Tourism Director of Brand and Marketing Communications at JOALI. This leadership transition marks a significant step forward as the brand continues to expand its footprint in the global luxury tourism landscape.

Having been an integral part of the Gürok Group since the early stages of her career, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the identity and international positioning of JOALI.

Elevating a Luxury Brand to Global Recognition

Previously serving as Senior Cluster Director of Marketing Communications, Tatar spearheaded branding strategies for JOALI Maldives and JOALI BEING. Her leadership during this phase helped the brand achieve remarkable global recognition, including features on prestigious international lists and multiple industry awards.

A Broader Vision Across Hospitality Brands

In her expanded role, Tatar will now lead brand and communication strategies not only for JOALI but also for Ali Bey Hotels & Resorts and BIJAL—an emerging concept positioned as the Mediterranean’s first villa hotel brand.
