Himanshu Bhatnagar Appointed Multi-Property HR Director at The Westin Gurgaon & Sohna Resort

In a strategic move that underscores its commitment to people-first leadership, The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi and The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa have announced the appointment of Himanshu Bhatnagar as the Multi-Property Director of Human Resources.

With an impressive career spanning over 18 years in the hospitality sector, Himanshu brings a wealth of experience in strategic HR leadership, talent development, and associate engagement. His journey includes more than nine years with Marriott International, where he has consistently driven impactful HR initiatives aligned with global standards.

Prior to this role, Himanshu served as the Director of Human Resources at Le Méridien Gurgaon, where he successfully led end-to-end HR strategies across North India. Known for his people-centric approach, he has been instrumental in strengthening workplace culture, enhancing employee relations, and fostering high-performing teams.

Over the years, his professional journey has seen him contribute to some of the most respected names in hospitality, including The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), and Radisson Hotel Group. His experience spans across pre-opening projects, organizational transformation, and building sustainable, performance-driven cultures.

Recognized for his excellence in the field, Himanshu has received several prestigious accolades, including the HR Leader of the Year at the Hotelier India Awards (2023), along with multiple Marriott APEC HR Awards between 2021 and 2024 for his contributions to talent development, team excellence, and wellness initiatives.

In his new role, Himanshu will oversee the people and culture strategy across both Westin properties. His focus will align with Marriott’s globally recognized “People First” philosophy, aiming to strengthen leadership capabilities, enhance associate wellbeing, and drive long-term business success.

Commenting on the appointment, Rahul Puri, Multi-Property General Manager, shared,
