Grand Mercure Mysore and ibis Styles Mysuru have announced the appointment of Manali Gupta as the new Cluster General Manager. Bringing more than 18 years of experience in luxury hospitality and hotel operations, Manali steps into the role with a proven track record in operational excellence, guest satisfaction, team leadership, and strategic brand positioning.

A respected name in the hospitality industry, Manali Gupta began her professional journey with The Leela through its Management Training Program after completing her industrial training with the brand. Over the years, she has built an impressive career across some of the world’s leading hospitality companies, including Marriott, Hyatt, Accor, Starwood, and The Leela.

Her career journey also includes international exposure through an assignment with an Accor hotel in Dubai, further strengthening her expertise in global hospitality operations. Prior to this appointment, she was associated with Raffles Udaipur as Director of Operations.

Throughout her career, Manali has played a significant role in enhancing hotel operations, elevating guest experiences, and driving business growth across luxury and upscale hospitality environments. Her extensive expertise in Rooms Division and operational leadership has consistently contributed to stronger hotel performance and guest engagement.

In recognition of her dedication to operational excellence and service quality, she received a prestigious Hotelier Award in 2022 during her tenure as Director of Rooms.

In her new leadership role, Manali Gupta will oversee the strategic and operational direction of both Grand Mercure Mysore and ibis Styles Mysuru, with a focus on strengthening their positioning within Mysuru’s growing hospitality landscape.

Originally from Kolkata, Manali is also known for her love of food, coffee, travel, and animals. A passionate dog lover and proud pet parent to a rescued fur baby, she enjoys exploring new destinations and experiences beyond her professional life.
