New Delhi: Prerna Daga has been appointed as Multi-Property Director of Marketing for New Delhi Marriott Marquis and The St. Regis New Delhi, as the two highly anticipated luxury hotels prepare for their debut in the capital.

A seasoned marketing and communications professional with over 20 years of experience, including more than seven years with Marriott International, Prerna brings extensive expertise across hospitality marketing, brand strategy, public relations, digital marketing, corporate communications, influencer engagement and integrated marketing campaigns. Throughout her career, she has led brand positioning, hotel launches, media relations, executive communications, sustainability initiatives and high-impact marketing strategies for some of the country’s leading hospitality brands.

Prior to this appointment, she served as Cluster Director of Marketing & Communications for The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi and The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening brand visibility, driving integrated marketing initiatives and enhancing guest engagement across multiple business verticals.

Her professional journey also includes leadership roles with JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, PVR Limited, Yonex – Sunrise Group, Sarda Plywood Industries Ltd., Avani Group and Axiom International Projects Ltd., reflecting a diverse and accomplished career spanning hospitality, entertainment and consumer-facing businesses.

Recognized for her contributions to the industry, Prerna Daga has received several accolades, including World Brand Affairs 2024 – PR Professional of the Year, Franchise India Power 25 Marketing & PR (2021), and recognition among the 40 Under 40 hospitality leaders.

In her new role, Prerna will lead the pre-opening marketing and communications strategy for both hotels, overseeing brand positioning, launch strategy, public relations, digital and social media, strategic partnerships, content and integrated campaigns. She will play a key role in shaping the distinct identities and market entry of both destinations, building awareness and anticipation ahead of their openings.

The appointment comes at a significant moment for Marriott International in New Delhi, with the upcoming debut of India’s first Marriott Marquis and the arrival of the St. Regis brand in the national capital. Together, the two hotels will bring distinctive hospitality experiences to New Delhi while marking important additions to Marriott International’s growing portfolio in India.
