DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport has appointed hospitality professional Anuj Chaudhry as its new General Manager, adding an experienced industry leader to the team as the hotel continues to build its presence following its opening in January 2026.
With more than two decades of experience spanning hotel operations, business management and brand development, Chaudhry brings a strong mix of operational expertise and commercial insight to the Bengaluru property. His career includes leadership roles with leading hospitality companies, along with experience managing hotels through operational changes, brand transitions and repositioning.
Driving Performance and Guest Experience
As General Manager, Chaudhry will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s overall operations while driving commercial performance, guest satisfaction and service excellence.
A key focus of his leadership will be creating a strong workplace culture and developing a high-performing team. His experience in managing hotel transitions and brand repositioning is expected to be particularly valuable as DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport continues to establish its identity in Bengaluru’s growing airport hospitality market.

A Career Across Leading Hospitality Brands
Before taking up his new role in Bengaluru, Chaudhry served as General Manager of Aravali Marriott Resort & Spa in Delhi NCR. During his tenure, he led the property’s transition and rebranding from Courtyard to Marriott, gaining valuable experience in managing a major brand transformation.
In 2024, he was appointed Cluster General Manager for Grand Mercure Bangalore, Grand Mercure Mysore and ibis Styles Mysuru. The role gave him responsibility across multiple properties and further strengthened his experience in managing diverse operational and commercial priorities.
Over his more than 20-year career, Chaudhry has worked across hotel operations, commercial performance and brand strategy. His contribution to the hospitality sector has also earned industry recognition, including Accor India’s General Manager of the Year award in 2018 and the General Manager of the Year title at the Hotel Operations Summit India in 2020.
