With more than 11 years of experience in hospitality human resources, Neerajita brings extensive expertise across people operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, employee relations and organisational culture. Her varied experience with some of Kolkata’s prominent hospitality institutions is expected to further support Novotel Kolkata’s focus on building a strong, people-first workplace culture.
An Experienced Hospitality HR Professional
Neerajita Kundu’s career has included associations with The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata, Neotia Hospitality, Hyatt Regency Kolkata and Fortune Park Hotels by ITC. Over the years, she has developed a broad understanding of hospitality HR, combining people management with employee engagement and organisational development.
Before joining Novotel Kolkata, Neerajita served as Human Resource Manager at Fortune Park Hotels by ITC, where she was involved with the property during its pre-opening phase. Earlier, she spent three years at Hyatt Regency Kolkata as Assistant Manager – Human Resources, gaining further experience across key HR functions and employee engagement initiatives.
Her career journey across established hospitality brands has given her valuable exposure to different workplace environments, talent requirements and people-focused strategies within the hotel industry.

In her new position at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, Neerajita will lead the hotel’s People & Culture function. Her role will focus on strengthening employee engagement, nurturing talent and advancing learning and development initiatives across the property.
