Chiranjib De to Lead HR at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon
In his new role, De will oversee the Human Resources function at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, while also taking on Area HR responsibilities for Hyatt properties across North India. His responsibilities will include talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, succession planning, and strengthening Hyatt’s culture of care across the region.
His leadership will focus on creating an environment where colleagues can develop their skills, pursue long-term career opportunities, and contribute to the continued growth of Hyatt’s hospitality operations.
A Longstanding Career with Hyatt
Chiranjib De’s career with Hyatt reflects a steady progression through several important HR leadership positions. He began his Hyatt journey as a Human Resources Officer at Hyatt Regency Kolkata, later advancing to the position of Personnel Manager.
He subsequently took on senior leadership responsibilities as Director of Human Resources at Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa and Grand Hyatt Goa, gaining experience across different hotel operations and hospitality markets.
Before joining Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, De served as Cluster Director of Human Resources at Grand Hyatt Kochi, where he was responsible for managing HR operations across multiple Hyatt properties in Kerala.
This diverse experience has given him a broad understanding of hospitality workforce management, from colleague engagement and recruitment to leadership development and organizational culture.
