Hotel Eden in Rome has announced the appointment of Tristan Delaittre as its new General Manager, effective October 1, 2026. The leadership change marks a new chapter for the renowned luxury hotel, with Delaittre bringing more than seven years of experience with Dorchester Collection and a career shaped by food and beverage, hotel operations, guest experience and strategic leadership.
Tristan Delaittre Brings Extensive Dorchester Collection Experience
Delaittre joins Hotel Eden following his most recent role as Corporate Director of Food & Beverage at Dorchester Collection. During his time in the position, he was responsible for developing and overseeing food and beverage strategies across the group’s international portfolio.
His corporate responsibilities also included contributing to the planning and development of upcoming Dorchester Collection properties in key global markets, including Dubai and Tokyo. This experience provided him with valuable insight into the operational, commercial and service standards required to manage luxury hospitality properties across different markets.
His move to Hotel Eden will allow him to bring this international perspective to one of Rome’s most established luxury hospitality addresses.
Leadership Experience at Le Meurice in Paris
Before stepping into his corporate role, Delaittre served as Food & Beverage Director at Le Meurice in Paris, another prestigious Dorchester Collection property.
In that position, he oversaw a wide range of guest-facing operations, including the hotel’s restaurants and bars, events and in-room dining. The role gave him extensive experience in managing complex hospitality operations while maintaining the high level of personalised service expected by luxury travellers.
His career progression demonstrates a combination of operational expertise and a strong understanding of the guest experience. His background in food and beverage is particularly relevant to the modern luxury hotel environment, where dining, events and personalised service have become central to a property’s identity.
A New Chapter for Hotel Eden Rome
As General Manager, Delaittre will oversee the hotel’s overall operations and performance while guiding Hotel Eden through its next phase of development.
His responsibilities will include maintaining the property’s established service standards, enhancing the guest experience and supporting the continued evolution of the hotel. At the same time, his leadership will focus on preserving the character and sense of place that have helped distinguish Hotel Eden within Rome’s competitive luxury hospitality market.
Hotel Eden’s Position in Rome’s Luxury Hospitality Scene
Located in the heart of Rome, Hotel Eden has established itself as a destination for travellers seeking refined accommodation, personalised service and a strong connection to the Italian capital.
Rome continues to attract luxury travellers from around the world, making the city an important market for high-end hospitality. Against this backdrop, Hotel Eden’s combination of Italian character and international luxury standards remains central to its appeal.
Delaittre’s international experience could provide an important perspective as the property continues to respond to the changing expectations of luxury travellers.
International Experience Across Dubai and Tokyo
Delaittre’s previous corporate responsibilities also exposed him to the strategic challenges of developing luxury hospitality concepts in international markets.
His involvement with upcoming properties in Dubai and Tokyo offered experience in considering how Dorchester Collection’s service philosophy and luxury standards can be adapted to different destinations and markets.
That international exposure adds another dimension to his leadership profile as he moves into a property-level General Manager position in Rome.
A Natural Progression in Luxury Hospitality Leadership
Delaittre’s appointment represents a natural progression from his group-level strategic position to leading an individual luxury hotel.
His experience spans food and beverage management, hotel operations, commercial strategy, guest experience and international development. Together, these areas provide a broad foundation for his new responsibilities at Hotel Eden.
As he takes on the General Manager role, Delaittre will be tasked with balancing the operational demands of a luxury hotel with the importance of preserving the individuality and character of the Rome property.
Hotel Eden Looks Ahead Under New Leadership
With Tristan Delaittre taking the helm on October 1, 2026, Hotel Eden begins its next chapter under a leader whose career has been closely connected with the Dorchester Collection’s luxury hospitality portfolio.
