Dubai, UAE: Action Hotels has announced the promotion of Samira Khrichfa to Cluster General Manager, expanding her leadership responsibilities to include both Novotel Bur Dubai and ibis Styles Sharjah. The new role brings together two properties in the UAE under her direction, with a focus on operational coordination, commercial performance, talent development and guest satisfaction.
Expanded Leadership Role Across Dubai and Sharjah
As Cluster General Manager, Khrichfa will oversee the strategic and operational direction of both hotels. Her responsibilities will include strengthening commercial performance, supporting team development and creating a more consistent guest experience across the two properties.
The cluster approach is also expected to encourage greater collaboration between the Dubai and Sharjah teams. By sharing resources and expertise, the hotels can improve operational coordination while continuing to maintain their individual identities and market positioning.
More Than 20 Years of UAE Hospitality Experience
Khrichfa brings more than 20 years of hospitality leadership experience in the UAE. During her career, she has worked with several internationally recognized hospitality groups, including Starwood, Shangri-La and Dusit International.
Her professional journey has also included involvement in the opening of four hotels in the UAE, giving her experience across hotel operations, pre-opening activities and hospitality management.
Before stepping into her new cluster position, Khrichfa served as General Manager of Novotel Bur Dubai, where she was responsible for the hotel’s day-to-day operations, development and overall performance.
Focus on Personalized Guest Experiences
One of the key priorities under Khrichfa’s expanded role will be enhancing the guest experience at both properties. The hotels will look at ways to offer more personalized and flexible interactions as traveler expectations continue to evolve.
Understanding different guest needs will remain important across both destinations, with the properties serving a mix of business travelers, leisure visitors and guests visiting the UAE for medical tourism.
Driving Commercial Growth Across Two Markets
Commercial growth will be another important area of focus. Sales, marketing and revenue strategies across Novotel Bur Dubai and ibis Styles Sharjah will be aligned to identify new opportunities across corporate travel, leisure tourism and medical tourism.
Greater coordination between the two properties could also help teams respond more effectively to changing demand patterns across Dubai and Sharjah while identifying opportunities to attract new guest segments.
Investing in Hospitality Talent
Khrichfa’s new responsibilities will also include a strong focus on talent development. Her leadership approach will encourage collaboration between teams, cross-property career opportunities and continued professional development.
Creating opportunities for employees to gain experience across both properties can support knowledge sharing while helping hospitality professionals develop a broader understanding of hotel operations.
Strengthening Collaboration Between Two Properties
With Novotel Bur Dubai and ibis Styles Sharjah now operating under Khrichfa’s leadership, the cluster structure is designed to create closer operational cooperation between the hotels.
While the properties will continue to serve their respective markets and retain their individual identities, shared resources and collaboration can help create greater efficiency across areas such as operations, sales, marketing and talent development.
A New Chapter in UAE Hospitality Leadership
Khrichfa’s promotion marks another step in her long-standing hospitality career in the UAE. With experience spanning more than two decades and multiple international hospitality groups, she now takes responsibility for two properties serving complementary markets in Dubai and Sharjah.
Her new position places guest experience, commercial growth, operational collaboration and employee development at the center of the cluster’s priorities as both hotels continue to respond to the evolving UAE tourism and hospitality landscape.
