Mahesh Shetty Brings Nearly Two Decades of Hospitality Experience

Before joining Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, Mahesh served as Associate Director of Sales at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, where he was responsible for driving proactive sales initiatives across transient and MICE segments.

Over the course of his career, Mahesh has also held leadership positions with several well-known hospitality brands, including Grand Hyatt Mumbai, Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, and Waterstones Hotel. His experience across these properties has given him a well-rounded understanding of corporate sales, key account management, group business, and revenue generation.

His extensive background is expected to support Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport as the hotel strengthens its commercial strategy and develops new opportunities across Mumbai’s dynamic business and travel market.

Driving Corporate and MICE Business in Mumbai

In his new position as Director of Sales, Mahesh will lead the hotel’s overall sales strategy, with a particular focus on corporate partnerships, MICE business, banquet revenue, and key account development.
