From Commis Chef to Executive Pastry Chef: Abhinav Singh’s Inspiring Culinary Journey at Aurika Mumbai, Skycity

Abhinav Singh’s journey to becoming an Executive Pastry Chef at Aurika Mumbai, Skycity, is a testament to his dedication and passion for the culinary arts. His career began as a commis chef at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he honed his skills in bakery and pastry production. Despite starting at the bottom, Abhinav’s commitment to excellence soon earned him promotions.

His next venture took him to Taj Hotels, where he served as a demi chef de partie, responsible for overseeing the entire production of bakery and pastry. His meticulous attention to detail and focus on maintaining the highest quality standards set him apart in the competitive hospitality industry.

Abhinav’s journey continued with stints at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts and Novotel Hotels, where he further refined his culinary expertise. His role as a Chef de Partie and Sous Chef pastry equipped him with invaluable leadership experience, as he managed teams and contributed to the success of various hotel outlets.

The pinnacle of Abhinav’s career came when he joined Hilton as a pastry sous chef. Here, he served as the Head of the pastry section at Conrad Bengaluru, overseeing a team of 14 and managing multiple food and beverage outlets. His leadership and culinary prowess were instrumental in elevating the hotel’s dining experience to new heights.

Abhinav’s journey continued with roles at Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa and Novotel Mumbai International Airport, where he further solidified his reputation as a top-tier pastry chef.

Today, as the Executive Pastry Chef at Aurika Mumbai, Skycity, Abhinav brings years of experience and innovation to the table. His role involves crafting exquisite pastries and desserts for guests, ensuring an unforgettable culinary experience. Abhinav’s inspiring journey is a testament to the power of perseverance, passion, and dedication in achieving one’s dreams in the world of hospitality.
