Dharmender Singh, currently serving as the Chief Business Officer at Kutchi Pukki, has solidified his reputation in the hospitality sector through his relentless commitment to culinary innovation and business excellence. With nearly two years in his current role, Singh oversees various facets of business development, ensuring that Kutchi Pukki continues to thrive by delivering exceptional biryanis, kebabs, and curries made from premium ingredients.
Before joining Kutchi Pukki, Singh led as the Culinary Director at Biryani Art, a venture he personally funded. For nearly nine years, he specialized in North Indian and Hyderabadi cuisines, distinguishing his offerings by sourcing local spices and ingredients. His expertise in menu design and vendor management contributed to an authentic dining experience that resonated with diverse customer tastes.
Singh’s entrepreneurial spirit extended to his ownership of The Ancient Barbeque and Smoked Biryani House, where he managed restaurant operations. During his tenure, he honed his skills in customer service, food presentation, and kitchen management, successfully elevating the dining experiences and positioning these restaurants as culinary landmarks for food enthusiasts.
His career foundations were laid at Radisson Hotel Delhi as a Kitchen Management Trainee, where he trained across all core departments of food and beverage production. This experience set the stage for his subsequent roles as Executive Chef at Clarks Group of Hotels and Area Executive Chef at Pirates of Grill. At Clarks, he was responsible for kitchen management, ensuring food quality and customer satisfaction through curated dining experiences.
At Kutchi Pukki, Singh is spearheading an aggressive expansion, with three outlets already in operation and more in the pipeline. Along with Kutchi Pukki, Singh has also launched Kingdom of Wok and Southland brands within corporate towers, further diversifying his portfolio. His strategic insight into location selection and new restaurant openings has been pivotal to the restaurant chain’s growth and success.
In addition to his leadership at Kutchi Pukki, Singh serves as the Corporate Chef for ShriGo Hotels & Resorts, which is undergoing continuous expansion across India. This dual role enables him to shape the culinary direction of both the restaurant and hotel chain, ensuring that each dining experience is synonymous with quality, authenticity, and exceptional service.
