A tribute to India’s rich culinary heritage cooked in traditional vessels
Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH8 is proud to present an immersive culinary festival at The Palate, the hotel’s signature dining venue. Launching April 11, the festival invites guests every Friday to Sunday for a dining experience that celebrates the essence of Indian cooking in earthenware full of flavour and tradition.
This festival is a tribute to India’s rich culinary heritage, with dishes cooked in traditional vessels and served with warmth. Inspired by the delicate fragrance of Indian spices on earthen cookware, the menu highlights age-old recipes that are lovingly brought to life with a modern presentation. Guests can savour soulful creations like Narikal Dal Ka Shorba, Patrani Machli, Rara Kukkad, Chenna Kofta Curry, Paneer Korma, Adhirasam and many more — each dish echoing the essence of regional flavours and traditional cooking styles.
It is a celebration of flavours born from the earth and served with tradition, where soulful ingredients meet. Every plate is a harmonious blend of textures and aromas, with slow-cooked gravies, delicately spiced vegetables, aromatic preparations, and indulgent sweets. The thalis offer not just a meal, but an experience thoughtfully plated and presented in a warm, elegant setting.
Mukta Khanna, General Manager at Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH8, shared,
“This festival is more than just food, it’s a heartfelt celebration of India’s roots. We want our guests to experience the comfort and richness of traditional Indian meals in a setting that feels both familiar and special.”
Executive Chef Deep Dubey added,
“We’ve curated a menu that honours India’s culinary traditions, using authentic techniques, traditional utensils, and ingredients that speak of home. The idea is to awaken nostalgia through flavours, while giving each dish a modern elegance.”
