JW Marriott Kolkata, in partnership with Dean With Us, proudly presents a one-of-a-kind Vietnamese culinary and mixology showcase on 8th and 9th August 2025. This two-night cultural celebration will bring the best of Vietnam’s modern food and beverage scene to the heart of the city, featuring acclaimed talents Chef Nhan Ngo, Thep Dinh, and Huy Ngo.
The event is curated by Dean With Us, a boutique F&B platform founded by Akanksha and Rupali Dean—celebrated across Asia for their immersive, cross-cultural dining collaborations. Their mission to bridge global palates and stories through curated experiences finds a bold new chapter at JW Marriott Kolkata.
On 8th August, guests can savour an exclusive menu at Vintage Asia, crafted by Chef Nhan Ngo, whose innovative take on Vietnamese cuisine blends street-style roots with refined culinary techniques. From Saigon’s aromatic lanes to the coastal elegance of Phu Quoc, every dish will tell a story. Thep Dinh and Huy Ngo, bartending powerhouses from Stir – Modern Classic Cocktail in Saigon, will pair each course with inventive cocktails that balance heritage with flair.
On 9th August, the action shifts to 2:59 The Bar, where Thep and Huy will take over the bar with a lineup of contemporary Vietnamese cocktails, reflecting Stir’s signature style—a place where classic cocktail craftsmanship meets progressive Southeast Asian flavours.
Thep Dinh, World Class Vietnam Champion 2019, co-founder of Savour Cocktail Club, and the driving force behind Stir, brings a distinct mix of artistry and experimentation to the bar. Joining him is Huy Ngo, a rising star with multiple national accolades and a regular on Asia’s top bartender lists. Together, their creative chemistry has landed Stir on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list four years in a row.
Meanwhile, Chef Nhan Ngo offers an elevated culinary experience built on Vietnamese foundations, layered with Japanese nuances, and known for his vibrant vegetarian creations and bold, umami-rich flavour profiles.
