Originally hailing from Karnal, Haryana, Surinder’s career journey reflects a unique blend of operational and human resource excellence. After graduating from the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Gurdaspur, he began his professional career in culinary operations with Marriott Jaipur. This early exposure to hospitality operations helped him develop a deep understanding of guest service standards and the importance of building high-performing teams.

His passion for people management eventually inspired a transition into talent acquisition, where he quickly established himself as a skilled HR professional. Over the years, he expanded his expertise across various HR functions, including employee relations, leadership development, workforce planning, and organisational effectiveness.

Before joining Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai, Surinder held several key human resources positions with some of India’s most respected hospitality brands. His professional journey includes impactful tenures at The Lalit Mumbai, The St. Regis Mumbai, and Grand Hyatt Mumbai.

Throughout these roles, he played a significant role in talent management initiatives, employee engagement programmes, leadership development strategies, and building positive workplace environments.
