Rosewood Hotel Group has announced the promotion of Friedrich von Schönburg to Vice President, Operations, Asia Pacific, and Operations Excellence, Global, effective January 2027. Based in Hong Kong, von Schönburg will oversee hotel operations across the Asia Pacific region while supporting global initiatives designed to strengthen operational performance, maintain consistent standards and enhance the overall guest experience.

Von Schönburg will report directly to Anthony Ingham, Chief Operating Officer of Rosewood Hotel Group, working closely with the leadership team to advance operational priorities across the business.
Experience Across Europe’s Luxury Hospitality Market
Von Schönburg currently serves as Regional Vice President and Managing Director of Rosewood Villa Magna in Madrid, Spain. In this capacity, he has supported the Group’s portfolio across Spain and Italy, gaining experience in managing luxury hospitality operations across multiple European markets.
His previous leadership positions include roles at Rosewood London and El Palace Barcelona, two prominent hospitality destinations known for their distinctive settings and guest experiences.
These assignments have helped build his experience across luxury hotel management, regional operations and the delivery of hospitality standards in different markets.

An alumnus of EHL Hospitality Business School, Friedrich von Schönburg brings an international background to his expanded responsibilities.
